Managing Director

Stuart loves a challenge! ‘Impossible' is simply not in his vocabulary. The founder of Jazz in 1988, he’s just as passionate and driven today and the driving force of the company. He looks (rather annoyingly) 15 years younger than he actually is. A proud dad to Laurence and Jack, whom he loves to bits!

David heads our small but perfectly formed online team. As head geek (as he loves to be called) he sees the world as one large poorly normalised database. Responsible for all our online activities and leads his team admirably. Top man.

Publisher

Dave is clever, creative and brings a calming influence to Jazz Publishing: As publisher to such a diverse range of titles, he has to be. Never one to let his opinions go unnoticed, Dave is a lovable and fun member of our family. He’s also bald.

Emma has the smile and laugh of a puppy and the tenacity of raging bull: A great combination. She heads up a hard working team that handle all the small-print of Jazz in a wonderful way. Work, Pub, Home it’s a regular routine (that last sentence was whispered).

Production Manager

Scheduling editors, designers, advertising, printers and logistics for magazine production is a military precision affair that Justine handles beautifully. Her ability to organise is second to none; if there were a device to file filing cabinets she’d have one. Perhaps we should start calling her Sergeant Major, bravo!

Shelley is the life and soul of our Events and has played a key role in making them what they are today. Great at her job, she has an infectious personality that everyone loves. Has anyone ever seen her in the same pair of shoes twice?

Jan is the longest working member of the team. 21 years she's been trapped here and she has a gold clock for her mantle piece to prove it (Erm.. I think we forgot to give her that, Ed.). An amazing lady who's commitment and dedication to what we have achieved is greatly appreciated. You would have thought after 21 years though, she could make a decent cuppa! ;-P

Administration

As the baby of our team, Katie brings her own unique way of thinking. She is the first port of call for phone contact into Jazz and deals with this professionally, friendly and with that all important ingredient, humour. She announced recently to the rest of us that as she is a big girl now, she’s moving out of her mum's and into her own house. Everyone is now frantically collecting Tesco vouchers for bargain designer saucepans (non-stick!).

Pam will love us for telling you that at the ripe old age of xx (forced to edit out) she is the oldest member of the Jazz team (or at least she thinks she is!). Pam is a great member of Jazz and it is a credit to her that at 151 years old, she has the strength, passion and force of a Rottweiler to get the money in from tardy payers! We love you Pam!

Have you ever put a Mintos sweet into a bottle of fizzy pop? Well those of you who have will have noticed the energy that is created. This is the only way we can sum up James. Full of beans and raring to go, he won’t leave any stone unturned to find you the best way to promote your products through ours. Like his mum, the delectable Wendy, he cooks a mean sponge cake too!

Lou works on 100% Biker and Trike titles and has done so for many years. She has established over this time great relationships with her customers (or as she calls them, friends) and it's easy to see why. A loving mum to Katy and 4 year old, and already bike mad Liam, Louise is a busy lady!

Sarah is the new girl to the team and works on Skin Deep magazine. She is a huge tattoo fan (a necessity for the role), and currently adorns several pieces of art on her body. She has plenty more planned too. A perk of her job is that she has had her eyes opened even wider to the truly amazing styles and talent of artists that the tattoo world has to offer. Welcome aboard.

If Wendy could be anything, she would be a fairy (some believe she is). With fairy dust following her everywhere she goes and the lightness of her footsteps; you would hardly know she was in the office at all. Camera shy, we have invented the new game ‘Where’s Wendy’ for our events office photos. Look hard enough, she’s there somewhere.

There are not many ladies out there that love their motorsport, but Katy is one of them. From Le Mans and Rallying to Formula 1, she has the bug for it all. That love of the sport also means she is miss competitive, and always up there as one of the winners on a team night out. Whether it’s go-karting or ten pin bowling she wants to win them all. And she normally does!

Carly is a valued member of our team and an amazing designer. No task phases her and she works on a diverse range of products. After a fair few glasses of wine Carly (and her co-worker Lindsay) develop the most incredible high pitched voices. Ever seen the Princess Fiona and the exploding bird sketch in Shrek? You get the picture...

David is a true gentleman and is married to the lovely Cee. What he does not know about Volkswagen Campers is not worth knowing, which is why he heads up our VW Camper & Commercial magazine and is the face of our VW displays at Camper Jam. He is author of many books and all round good guy.

Jimmer is the editor of our VW Bus T4 & T5+ publication. Being a part of the VW scene for many years, and with an unbridled enthusiasm for the vans and the people who drive them; he's certainly got some big ideas. We can't wait to see where Jimmer takes the magaine in the future.

Lindsay designs our 100% Biker and Trike titles perfectly and observing the editor / designer relationship on these titles makes life worth living! She loves cats as you can see from her picture, but she loves them less than competing with Carly for the title of ‘Squeakiest Voice’ (we believe she currently holds this crown). The mice on the mouse organ in Bagpuss are equal to Lindsay after two glasses of Chardonnay. Fact.

Nik is the editor on our titles 100% Biker and Trike magazine and is constantly on the road to cover bike features and the multitude of bike rallies there are the world over. He’s not one of those fair weather riders, but then again he doesn't have a choice, as he’s not passed his car test yet.

All we can say is that every time he has been out and had a drink, something memorable has happened. From damaging something (parts of his body normally) to showing us how good he thinks he is on the dance floor, he’s a great team member through and through. Sion is editor of Skin Deep and Skin Shots International magazines. Cool as a cucumber, he has quickly mastered the arts of likability and wit. He is also either an insomniac or a vampire, as it is not uncommon to receive emails well into the witching hours from him.

Social media has become quickly part of our company strategy and for the amount of products we have, we need someone who can keep all the plates spinning. At the same time. Whilst drinking a coffee and shoving a donut in your face. Gareth is that man; in fact he is ‘the’ man in Cyberspace. Life as we are going to know it, just would not be the same without him.
